Lesley W. Sheeley II

Principal

Prior to the establishment of Sheeley & Partners Wealth Management, Mr. Sheeley was a co-founder and Senior Portfolio Manager with Phoenix Investment Management in Providence, RI.  His responsibilities included being a member of the Investment Policy Committee and managing the portfolios of both individual and institutional clients.  Mr. Sheeley was also responsible for the selection and implementation of the firm’s investment management software.  He was on the Board of Directors for eight years and a past President of Shaw Data’s user group for the Port product (portfolio management software).  Previously, Mr. Sheeley held portfolio management positions at Fleet Financial Group and New England Trust Company.  Before moving to Providence, Mr. Sheeley was a Trust Administrator in the Old Colony Trust Division at the Bank of Boston. 

Mr. Sheeley earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Ithaca College in New York.  He is a past member of The Association for Investment Management and Research, a member and past President of the Providence Society of Chartered Financial Analysts and is a Registered Investment Advisor.  In addition, he is a past member of the Rhode Island Foundation Professional Advisory Council.


Chip Greer

Investment Advisor

Mr. Greer has spent a decade crafting investment portfolios and building financial plans for individuals, families and businesses.  His investment strategy focuses on risk management through proper asset allocation.  He has managed individual portfolios of stocks and bonds, and has also coordinated strategies using private money managers, mutual funds, exchange traded funds and alternative investments, such as private Real Estate fund offerings and commodity trading funds.

Prior to joining Sheeley & Partners Wealth Management, Mr. Greer began his work as an investment professional for A.G. Edwards and Sons and Wachovia Securities.  Most recently he was a financial advisor at Arlen Corporation, where he served on the investment committee.

An active community member, Chip served as president of the Executive Association of Rhode Island and is a trustee of the CCRI Foundation and also a member of the board of the Rhode Island Free Clinic.

Mr. Greer earned his B.A. degree at the University of Rhode Island and his M.F.A. graduate degree at the University of North Carolina Greensboro.
