Lesley W. Sheeley II


Prior to the establishment of Sheeley & Partners Wealth Management, Mr. Sheeley was a co-founder and Senior Portfolio Manager with Phoenix Investment Management in Providence, RI.  His responsibilities included being a member of the Investment Policy Committee and managing the portfolios of both individual and institutional clients.  Mr. Sheeley was also responsible for the selection and implementation of the firm’s investment management software.  He was on the Board of Directors for eight years and a past President of Shaw Data’s user group for the Port product (portfolio management software).  Previously, Mr. Sheeley held portfolio management positions at Fleet Financial Group and New England Trust Company.  Before moving to Providence, Mr. Sheeley was a Trust Administrator in the Old Colony Trust Division at the Bank of Boston. 

Mr. Sheeley earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Ithaca College in New York.  He is a past member of The Association for Investment Management and Research, a member and past President of the Providence Society of Chartered Financial Analysts and is a Registered Investment Advisor.  In addition, he is a past member of the Rhode Island Foundation Professional Advisory Council.

Megan Chisholm, MBA, CFP®

portfolio manager/ investment analyst

Ms. Chisholm is a Registered Investment Advisor, Series 65, who joined Sheeley & Partners Wealth Management in the Spring of 2016.  In her role, she assists in constructing portfolios and performs investment analytics for the firm.

Before joining Sheeley & Partners Wealth Management, Ms. Chisholm earned her BA in Business Economics as well as her MBA concentrating in finance from Providence College.  While attending college, Ms. Chisholm co-authored the annual Statistical Review publication in the Office of Institutional Research.  She was offered a Graduate Assistant position in the research office while pursuing her MBA degree.  In her MBA coursework, Ms. Chisholm concentrated in finance, security analysis, and portfolio management.

In addition to her analytical and investment research skills, Ms. Chisholm is also a CFP® professional and assists in the preparation of financial plans.   Ms. Chisholm is a licensed life and health insurance producer and can help clients who have excessive risk exposure. 

George Wallace

Managing Director

Mr. Wallace has over 45 years experience in the area of Trust and Investment services having started his career at Fleet Bank in 1963.  In 1983, he joined New England Trust Company as a Portfolio Manager, and during the past 20 years served in various capacities such as Chairman of the Investment Policy Committee, Chief Investment Officer and most recently Executive Vice President.

Prior to his association with New England Trust, he was affiliated with the First National Bank of Rockford Illinois, as a Vice President, and BMC Durfee Trust Company in Fall River, Massachusetts, as a Senior Trust Officer.

Mr. Wallace earned his Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Rhode Island and is a graduate of the Williams College School of Banking.  He is a member of the International Association for Financial Planning and a member of the Providence Society of Financial Analysts.

Chip Greer

Investment Advisor

Mr. Greer has spent a decade crafting investment portfolios and building financial plans for individuals, families and businesses.  His investment strategy focuses on risk management through proper asset allocation.  He has managed individual portfolios of stocks and bonds, and has also coordinated strategies using private money managers, mutual funds, exchange traded funds and alternative investments, such as private Real Estate fund offerings and commodity trading funds.

Prior to joining Sheeley & Partners Wealth Management, Mr. Greer began his work as an investment professional for A.G. Edwards and Sons and Wachovia Securities.  Most recently he was a financial advisor at Arlen Corporation, where he served on the investment committee.

An active community member, Chip served as president of the Executive Association of Rhode Island and is a trustee of the CCRI Foundation and also a member of the board of the Rhode Island Free Clinic.

Mr. Greer earned his B.A. degree at the University of Rhode Island and his M.F.A. graduate degree at the University of North Carolina Greensboro.
