Lesley W. Sheeley II

Principal

Before founding Sheeley & Partners Wealth Management, Mr. Sheeley was a co-founder and Senior Portfolio Manager at Phoenix Investment Management in Providence, RI. There, he served on the Investment Policy Committee and managed portfolios for individual and institutional clients. He also oversaw the selection and implementation of the firm's investment management software and served eight years on the Board of Directors, including a term as President of Shaw Data's user group for the Port portfolio management software.

Mr. Sheeley's earlier experience includes portfolio management roles at Fleet Financial Group and New England Trust Company, as well as a position as Trust Administrator in the Old Colony Trust Division at Bank of Boston.

Professional Credentials & Involvement

Mr. Sheeley holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Ithaca College. He is a Registered Investment Advisor and a past member of The Association for Investment Management and Research. Additionally, he served as President of the Providence Society of Chartered Financial Analysts and was a member of the Rhode Island Foundation Professional Advisory Council.

Chip Greer

Professional Experience & Expertise

Over the past decades, Mr. Greer has built investment portfolios and comprehensive financial plans for individuals, families, and businesses. His investment philosophy emphasizes risk management through strategic asset allocation. He has managed diverse portfolios spanning stocks, bonds, private real estate funds, and commodity trading funds, while also directing strategies across private money managers, mutual funds, and exchange-traded funds.

Mr. Greer's professional journey includes roles at A.G. Edwards and Sons and Wachovia Securities before joining Sheeley & Partners Wealth Management. Most recently, he served as a financial advisor and investment committee member at Arlen Corporation.

Community Involvement

An engaged community leader, Mr. Greer served as president of the Executive Association of Rhode Island and currently serves as a trustee of the CCRI Foundation and board member of the Rhode Island Free Clinic.

Education

Mr. Greer holds a B.A. from the University of Rhode Island and an M.F.A. from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.

Katherine Cohen

Research analyst

Katherine Cohen is a Research Analyst who supports investment research, portfolio analysis, manager due diligence, and the development of customized investment strategies for high-net-worth individuals and families. Her responsibilities include monitoring portfolio performance, conducting investment analysis, and preparing client reports.

Prior to joining Sheeley & Partners, Katherine held analytical roles at Syneos Health, Butterfly Network, and Hebrew SeniorLife, where she developed expertise in financial analysis, quantitative modeling, data analytics, and cross-functional project support. This diverse analytical background provides a strong foundation for evaluating investment opportunities and supporting client portfolios.

Katherine holds a Master of Science in Financial Management, with a concentration in Investment Analysis, from Boston University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the University of Texas. She is currently pursuing the Financial Risk Manager (FRM) designation from the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP).

Mary Boyle

Investment Associate

Mary Boyle is an Investment Associate who brings strong analytical skills and a commitment to client service. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business and Finance with a minor in Economics from Elmira College, where she graduated with honors and served as captain of the women's ice hockey team.

 In her role, Mary assists with client service requests, account administration, and operational tasks to ensure a smooth and positive client experience. Her expertise in financial analysis, data management, and financial reporting stems from her internship with the State of Rhode Island, where she developed a practical understanding of complex financial systems.

 Mary is dedicated to building lasting client relationships grounded in trust and personalized service. Outside of work, she remains active with friends and family and recently completed the Lake Placid Ironman.
